Our alumni are an extension of the Postgraduate Career Services team. Having benefitted from their journey with SMU, our alumni dedicate their time to mentor students, and refer available jobs through the Career Services team.

Education is one of the greatest gifts I’ve received in my life. By sharing my knowledge gained in the course of work with the current cohorts of students, I hope to contribute in some ways to enriching student life in SMU. What’s surprised me in the process, is that as much as I think I’m giving, I’m actually learning from the current students!

I've been mentoring students since 2013, and I make it a point to attend MQF events whenever time permits. You might ask why I give so much of my time to SMU – it’s because I love the MQF programme and SMU, and I want to support the growth of both!
